After distinguishly serving 25 years at the New York Police Department as a Detective First Grade, Larry Langston relocated to Central Florida and founded InterStar Security & Investigative Services.

Larry Langston brings with him expirence as robbery and homicide detective and is certified by NYPD as a Homicide Investigator, Specialized Protective Security (Dignitary Protection),  and Criminal Investigator as well as DWI and Vehicular Homicide.

Additionally Larry Langston's dignitary protection experience and leadership was noted as he was carefully selected for dignitary protection service to four US Presidents and a number of foreign leaders. 

Larry Langston was also selected as the Confidential Aide and Personal Protection Specialist to the Police Commisioner, First Deputy Police Commisioner, Chief of Department, and the Chief of Patrol and served in those roles with honor.

Presently as CEO of InterStar Security & Investigative Services, Larry Langston ensures that InterStar provides the most comprehensive package in investigative integrity and security excellence.

Chip Walden is a founder of InterStar. He was born in Vietnam and was working in the Security and Investigative field since he was 18 years old. Chip Walden is a motivational leader excelling in initiating change within the industry and increasing efficiency while providing exemplary customer service.

In his career he has worked as a security manager/trainer for Orlando resorts and convention centers, as a Security Director for the Caribe Royale Resort, security, trainer and investigations for Walt Disney World, and investigations and counterintelligence for Lockheed Martin. Chip Walden is also a subject matter expert on the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act on matters of criminal background checks.

During his 7 years at Lockheed Martin, he became Facility Security Officer certified, and received his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Chip Walden also created the 2005 and 2007 Investigations Guide for the company and investigated and solved a $100,000 computer theft scheme. He investigated successfully numerous investigative cases including mischarging, misuse of company assets, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace.

Chip Walden always shared his dream of starting a security and investigative agency that is positive, energetic and reliably strong. A company with proactive customer/client service yet sharply aware of the security issues of our present times.
